So, hairs the deal.

So, this blog is about people.  You, me and anybody who essentially has hair.  You see that’s what I spend the majority of my time doing.  Hair. Talking to people while I do their hair.  And what a time it can be.  As many of you may know the time spent in your hairstylist’s chair can be sacred.  Sacred as in “Oh, shit did I just tell her that, I never told anyone that!, but I know I can trust her”  Or sacred as in “Ahhh…an hour to relax and pamper myself , while I’m rubbed and scrubbed and told how beautiful I am.”  Either way or any other way it is a special time for my clients and me.  I get a chance to learn about people and myself.  As I see it, everyone who sits down in my chair is there for a larger reason. In a cosmic sense.  My client is the mirror and I  learn about myself  my world thru them.  What they share with me.  The themes that run through their lives and how they navigate through.  As I learn and  grow, and become a  better, brighter more  conscious, aware human being, I  reflect that back to them and the world can move ahead (are you catching all of the hairdressing puns here?) to be a more beauty-full place.   Yes…..I LOVE MY JOB!!!    More to come….Peace and Good Hair to you!
